Robitussin Dry Cough Forte provides symptomatic relief of dry, irritating and hacking coughs for up to 8 hours in adults and children. Robitussin liquid coats and soothes the throat. It contains the cough suppressant Dextromethorphan hydrobromide monohydrate to relieve coughs due to minor throat and bronchial irritations as may occur with a cold.

Active Ingredients

Each 10mL contains: Dextromethorphan hydrobromide 30mg Also contains Sodium benzoate, Saccharin Sodium, glucose, fructose and maltose.

Use & Dosage

Every 6 to 8 hours orally when necessary;

  • Adults and Children over 12 years: 10 mL;
  • Children 6 - 12 years: 5 mL;
  • Children 2 - 6 years: 2.5 mL;
  • Do not exceed 4 doses in a 24 hour period.;

Do not administer to infants under 2 years of age without medical advice.

Storage & Disposal

Store below 25 degrees celsius.

Warnings

  • If cough persists for more than one week, tends to recur, or is accompanied by fever, rash or persistent headache, consult a doctor
  • If you have a persistent chronic cough such as occurs with smoking, asthma, chronic bronchitis, emphysema, or cough accompanied by excessive phlegm, consult a doctor before taking this product.
  • If you are currently taking an antidepressant or are on hypersensitive to any of the ingredients, you should seek medical advice before taking this medication.
