Children's ClaratyneDES Syrup provides rapid, non-drowsy, 24 hour relief for hives in children from 6 months of age and hayfever and year-round allergies in children 12 months and over. Children's ClaratyneDES Syrup is available in great tasting bubblegum flavour and comes with a measuring device for easy dosing.

Ingredients

Each 5mL contains Desloratadine 2.5mg

Directions

Suitable for children from 6 months of age for hives and from 12 months of age for allergic rhinitis.

For Hayfever (Allergic Rhinitis):

  • Ages 1 to 5 years : 2.5 mL every 24 hours.
  • Ages 6 to 11 years: 5 mL every 24 hours.
  • Ages 12 years and over: 10 mL every 24 hours.

For Hives:

  • Ages 6 to 11 months: 2 mL every 24 hours.
  • Ages 1 to 5 years 2.5 mL every 24 hours.
  • Ages 6 to 11 years: 5 mL every 24 hours.
  • Ages 12 years and over: 10 mL every 24 hours.

Symptoms present for less than 4 days a week or less than 4 weeks a year, use until symptoms have resolved. Symptoms present for more than 4 days a week and more than 4 weeks a year, use may continue during allergy exposure.

Caution

Do not use this product in children under 1 year of age or if cap seal is broken. Consult your doctor before use for children under 2 years of age. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding. If you have liver disease. Consult your doctor or pharmacist if symptoms persist. Contains benzoates, sucralose, sorbitol and maltitol (5.9g/10mL). Products containing sorbitol and maltitol may have a laxative effect or cause diarrhoea.
