Ordinary aspirin is generally released in the stomach and may cause irritation to the stomach lining.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eCartia low dose aspirin has a special Duentric coating designed to prevent it from being released in the stomach, so that it is released lower in the intestine. By releasing aspirin lower in the intestine, Cartia helps to minimise irritation to the stomach lining.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eIngredients:\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eActive ingredient\u003cstrong\u003e -\u003c\/strong\u003e Acetylsalicylic acid (aspirin) 100mg.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOther ingredients - guar gum, and a coating system including sunset yellow FCF aluminium lake (CI 15985).\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDoes not contain sucrose, gluten or tartrazine.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eDirections:\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt is recommended that you take only one tablet per day.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDo not break or chew the tablet.
